Virginia Master Gardener Association
Annual Meeting and Conference
June 15, 2024, 9AM – 4PM
Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, Gloucester VA
Joseph Tyconievich, Holly Scoggins, and Brent Heath! Live and in-person! Bunches of your EMG friends from all over the state! What could be better?? Registration is open! [add link]
VMGA is sponsoring one of the regional in-person events in conjunction with the virtual EMG College this year. We are grateful to the Gloucester Master Gardeners for their support with this event. They are a fantastic unit!
The Saturday conference will feature three seminars and a tour of Brent’s and Becky’s gardens and facilities. While hearing of the achievements and activities of your state association at the VMGA annual meeting, you’ll enjoy box lunches from the historic and highly recommended Nuttall’s Country Store. We arranged for specially priced rooms in the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Gloucester for Friday, June 14, 2024. At the hotel on Friday evening, VMGA has secured a conference room for an informal get-together and wine tasting. The conference will have as many of the traditional College events as possible! And a couple of other special moments…
Registration is open. The registration for VMGA members is just $15 and is $30 for non-members. Lunch choices will be selected when registering, and instructions to reserve hotel rooms are below. Non-members may pay join and pay dues to receive the discounted registration by going to VMGA’s membership Application and Renewal page.

Did you know?
One of the reasons that the Virginia Master Gardener Association was formed was to assist with the statewide continuing education event. Having been formed in 1990, VMGA assisted with the 1991 Master Gardener Advanced Training. The term, “Master Gardener College,” came along later.
